MBNA called me EVERYDAY numerous times by different people. I would say I've already talked to someone today and they would say they were in a different department blah-blah. After they talked to my ex about my account I wasn't so nice anymore. I ended up reaching a settlement agreement with a girl and then when I called in January to make the payment I was told the account had to went to charge off. I was soooo pissed but what could I do?? I faxed/mailed them a copy of the letter but haven't heard anything. I got a couple of calls from NCO about it (talk about rude SOBs). Anyway it states on my credit report that it was "purchased by another lender". Just curious if this means that MBNA can't come after me since it was sold? Not sure how all of that works.
