Can anyone tell me if there is a "statue of limitation" in the amount of time a collection agency or original utility company can come after you for an unpain bill?
I have an outstanding "phone bill" 1996 and I recently received a letter from a collection agency wanting to collect on it. I live in Florida and I'm just wondering how long they have to still try and "mess up" my credit{as if I haven't already done that enough on my own}
