I first want to start by saying that I didn't mean to make any statements that the 4 year SOL doesn't work, it just didn't work for me and I did write the judge before the judgement was entered but he granted it in favor of the plantiff. I want everyone to fight for their rights and that is why I keep coming back to this chat board, because I believe we are right and we have to fight for our rights. So i'm sorry if anyone "misinterpreted" what I was trying to say. I'm also confused about the statement in the last post>>>The GOOD news is, and I hope she pays attention to this, because it was entered Oct. 2001, it was prior to the effective date of the Fl. lien law. As of TODAY it still hasn't been REFILED in Tallahassee. They have until Oct.23, 2003 to refile it. If it is not refiled, it becomes UNENFORCEABLE. I do not know, and neither does anyone else right now, how the judgments will be REPORTED after this cutoff date. I would urge anyone who has had a Fl. judgment filed before Oct. 23, 2001 not to contact anyone, or respond to any requests for information, as the new lien law requires confirmation of current address and ss # to refile. >>>I'm not sure exactly what this means to me...can you explain in further detail.
