Can someone please explain to me what this means. I am in SC. What are the laws regarding liens and judgements here or tell me where to go to find out. I own a house with my ex and was curious what is going to happen because we both owe a credit card that we are no longer paying (if they sue). I owe 2, actually Citi and MBNA. He owes Wachovia (now First USA). I know that they can't garnish but curious what they can do to joint property.
