Have not checked credit report yet. Was waiting to get rid of Scamco once and for all before doing that. If anything is there, be assured they will be sued for everything we can go after-- AND with real attorneys. No do-it-yourself legal circus.

If they did send debt info to credit counselors, would that not be illegal under the FDCPA? It seems to me that it would.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of these "credit counselors." I would think that if they were legitimate, they would at least be listed in the phone directory.
