I take it this check bounced in 1996 or 97 ? If so the statute of limitations has expired and you don't have to pay a collection agency a single dime, you just need to send them WhyChat's expired SOL letter and be rid of them for good.

DO NOT EVER give a collection agency your bank information !! They will rob you blind. Send the letter, certified, RRR and do it ASAP.

One more thing.. please don't type in all CAPS, its considered shouting ;)
