If you don't pay as agreed to in the credit card agreement, they can and will send you to collections, that's all there is to it.

If you don't pay them, the account will be charged-off and Discover WILL sue you, they are very quick to do it and for ANY amount. So if you can get on a hardship program with them I'd do so.

If you're in a state that allows garnishment and they sue you and win a judgment, then yes, your wages will be garnished. If you don't have any non-exempt assets, they can't take any property from you.
