ACS? Are they okay? Should I do this?

I got a really nice call from ACS for "Ed Fund" regarding my student loan. My loan is in default, but since I am an unemployed student, I was planning on pulling the loan out of default when I start working next year.

Anyway, the guy seemed very sincere and said there was a federal program that pulls your loan out of default after three months if you make payments (he suggested $200 a month, which was what I was paying before). He said I could download the application and gave me a edu.gov web site but - here is where I felt just a tad suspicious - he instead wanted me to fill out the application and mail it to him.

Does his company make money off of this? he said they were one of five CA's for Ed Fund and totally ligit and he seemed like it.

Any advise? Should I fill out the form on my own or send it back to him? Or skip it until I can really afford to pay? Thanks for the help.
