Stoped Credit Counseling...Why Chat and anybody...

Hello, I was late with paying three cc's at which point I guess I was delingquent by a month or two. I started a consumer credir counseling program and as part of it, they said that that brings you back to current status. Well, a year into it, I could see that the balances were hardly dropping and the payment was next to impossible to keep up. I managed it by a second job. But one year and barely a dent. Anyway I stoped that program. My question. I am now near the SOL if the date began with the missed payments to the OC. But CCCC had said they get you back to current status. Does this mean my SOL begins when I stoped the CCCC? or OC? Thanks in advance to everybody for all the great advice.
