Thank you so much for the information. This makes me feel a little more at ease. Question....when you say they were aggressive....are you talking about RMA or American Express? Who do I contact for settlement? RMA or American Express? One other thing.....I am really really surprised that they did not sue you for the $22,000. How did you manage that? Could they not locate you? Also, did you accumulate a lot of interest for it to get to $22,000 or is that your original charge off amount? Seeing how it has just gone to collection.....do you think I have at least 5-6 months to save a settlement amount or do you think they will come after me soon? Sorry for all the questions......I just want to know what I am up against.

Also, if anyone else could share their experience with AM EX and RMA, I would really appreciate it.
