I had the same thing happen to me. I defaulted on an ITT ripoff loan in 1991. Sherman was reporting the loan opened in Oct 2002 and updated in Dec 2002. It had a side note of "Original Creditor OSI/Gulf State". It was only on my Experian report that I pulled on 1/3/03. I disputed it online and it was removed at the end of January. I was ready for a sweet payout as the TL was reaged and I have all my old reports back to 1993. If it reappears, I will file suit. Good luck!
