I read in another post either here or another board that someone had called citibank and they had told them they do not keep records past 7 years so they could not verify.. Does anyone knwo if thi is right? If so I have a usc that will be charged off in a month or two that I've had since 95. Should I not even bother with working a setlement with them if they cannot verify this debt is mine?
