PLEASE HELP, Dodging REPO guy!!!

I have a loan through Ford Fairlane, being assisted by SST (whatever that means). I was laid off with all the rest of the telecom industry here in Dallas. I was 60 day's late and got caught up but did it by working in construction. With this latest bout of bad weather I'm now 36 days late and they notified me that I was turned over to a repo company. Here's my question: If I can hide the car until I'm caught up on these two outstanding payments and the one that will come due during that time (which will take 3-5 weeks depending on weather) can they still, once I'm caught up, come take the car?
I know common sense says that if I get caught up they wouldn't but I need to know what they can and can't do verses what they should or shouldn't. Please help,
