hehe rofl, thank you for the humor :) The card is safe, the med accounts are from 2000 in Oregon.
SOL I believe is another 3 years and change.

I live in Colorado, and have since the separation and divorce, BUT the divorce had jurisdiction in Oregon.

Thus far I've only asked to validate because MOST are not appearing on my credit report yet.

I found two that were small on my credit report being held at a CA in Oregon that I disputed at the CRA's and weren't removed. I paid those two just to be done with the freaks (let time do it's magic) cause they were hairsplitting applied payments across various multiple accounts. I got them to fix that, with the help of the fine folks here ;-)

THEN they started telling me about an ambulance bill. So I'm thinking ambulance? You don't just take an ambulance ride for the heck of it.

Since then I've discovered est $21k in various med bills at three separate CA's from Portland to Medford. I've sent letters to all OC's and CA's and recieved all the greencards back, and await any word on the validation letters. I've also placed a fraud alert at all three of the CRA's.

Worse case, if I am sued and a judgement is won I understand all the new nasty toys they can use to get my hard earned dough. What I don't understand is if I do file a bk will that remove the judgement from my credit reports in addition to being noncollectible.

I'm almost a turnip now, but will definately be one this summer when I become underemployed/ unemployed again.

I can hear it at the local Blockbuster now, "Honey go to that checkout line! That man is moving them through fast!"

Nothin' wrong with workin' at Blockbuster, but the frontline CSR's don't make much, AND I didn't go to college to check videos out at Blockbuster.

Darn economy!

AND how long does it take for a judgement to showup if I've already been sued and don't know about it! None of the 3 credit reports currently show any public records.

At this point I just dunno what my strategy should be. I've considered sending your HIPPA letter Whychat, but wanted to save that card till I know the outcome of what I've done.

But WHAT should I do next?

Again thanks for all the input! P.S. What's the general consensus for using http://www.creditwrench.com services at $50.00 a month?

That's quite abit of dough to me right now.
