I am the original poster of that message. You are correct in what you read. This Citibank is an account that was originally opened in 12/93. My estranged husband has continued to make payments but last year placed the Citibank account in credit counseling. He is the primary cardholder. When I asked Citi to verify me as a joint cardholder, they told me they don't keep those records past 7 years. I'm trying to get it off my credit report and hopefully I can if they can't verify me as a joint cardholder.
