There are 2 kinds of SOL-(statute of limitations) BOTH begin the FIRST month you were delinquent (late/past due) on your original credit card account.

As far as I can tell, that seems to have been over 4 years ago.(a collection agency doesn't usually get an account until it has been charged off, and that takes 6 months from first delinquency)

That means that the entries on your credit reports will be erased sometime in 2006. If you get your Experian report, it will show the correct date for the accounts to be removed.

You are in Ca. and Ca. has a 4 year SOL for being sued for a collection on a credit card account. You are either past that date, or very close to it.So sit back, keep your $$, if you are sure you are beyond the 4 year mark from your first "late" or "past due" month, and you are being harrassed by collection agencies, send hem the SOL letter from my website.
