One low-life agency here sends letters signed by some jerk with a coppy sounding name, beneath which is the title "lead investigator' or some such malarchy. As the cop said in the Usual Suspects, "I'm shakin'."
Nice that the functional illiterates they employ write such fine specimens of FTC violations.
What gives pause is when one considers just how many people, as we all have been and/or still are, in a state of fright, humiliation, panic and ignorance of our rights, get taken in by these con men. Sickening.
Speaking of which, tell your doctor. He is certified to give testimony and speak to the court re your distress, upset, and effects detrimental to health and treatment.
How will the CA lawyer who attended night courses at Che Guevara School of Joint Rolling and Haggling counter that? With his cousin who used to peddle snake oil under the name Dr. Mabuse?
