You should consult with a lawyer in Tx. to confirm the following. For a foreign (another State)judgment to be executed in Tx.it must be refiled in Tx. For a judgment to be filed in anther jurisdiction, it must be "perfected" in the State it was filed in, that is certified to be a true and valid judgment. In MOST States, and I believe Tx is one, a default judgment can not be perfected, and Tx will not accept another State's default judgment for filing and execution in Tx. If this was, as I understand from your post, a default judgment, that is, you did not appear nor were you represented at any hearings, it can not (as I understand it) be filed and/or executed against against you in Tx. PLEASE get a legal opinion on this from a qualified Tx lawyer.
