Question about SOL on judgements. This attorney firm filed a judgement on me in Kansas in April 1998, they tried to garnish wages, but I got them to agree to a payment plan by submitting an appeal to the courts. I made the payment for several months, but stopped when I ran into some financial difficulty three months ago. They have not contacted me or sent another attempt to garnish wages. My question is, the Sol is up on the judgement next month, I think. If they don't renew, then will it be totally up? Or since they tried to collect and got a few payments, does that restart the judgement SOL? Please help. I hope they don't renew.
