Here’s my situation: I have $27,000.00 in credit card debt. This is spread out over five cards. The largest balance is Discover at $11,000.00.

My ex wife and I just signed a contract on our home. I will be receiving aprox. $56,000.00 in equity. I really don’t want these F****** to get a penny.

I’m over six months past due and will be sued shortly on my Citycard ($5600) & Discover ($11,000.00) accounts.

Currently I’m a sole proprietor and have a solid little business working on boats. Would it be of any benefit to incorporate and place my $56000.00 in equity in the corporation? Could the creditors slam the corporations bank account.

Thank you to all of those who responded yesterday. I’ve already sent out debt validation letters.
