I sent an offer with stipulations in it to Wolpoff & Ambramson and they sent me back the same $$ offer with no other of my stipulation included (noted paid on accoutn, ext.) They date that they wanted payment by was dated BEFORE I actually received the letter. Before I could get them a letter back, I received another letter stating:
"Your payment has not been received. As you are aware, based on your promise to pay we agreed to cease all colelction efforts on your account.
Please remit your payment as agreed. A self-addressed envelope is enlosed blah blah blah....... The only thing... the amount is double on what we agreed on. I never sent a validation letter.... is it too late for this.... any suggestions on what to do now? Live in Missouri Original debt $1686.50 agreed upon amount $843.25. Debt is from 1999.
