Also if you have an old credit report or old bills that show your last date of payment to them. You can look up SOL for your state. WHYCHAT has a list on his site. They were calling one to two times a day after validation and cease calling letter. So far the last call was last week and I told them I was recording the conversation,that if they persisted and "if I have to get a lawyer I will. They have a habit of leaving messages about this bill on answering machine leaving a long distance # for you to call and it's urgent to get this settled. Get that on tape if you can. This board is amazing in helping you deal with these people.
