1 letter received, now what

I have just received a letter from direct merchants bank saying that my account with them, which is past due, and i had been paying below minumum for 6 months has now been sold to sherman acquisition LP. that they will be assigning a seviced who will be contacting me to process future payments..they lis a place as Alegis group lp in texas, to remit payments to..I havent paid any cc this month..i cant.. i live in fl. whats next, and how do i respond. i owe direct merchants 12k..thanks
