Just Divorced?

Don't bet that this scumbag nice lawyer for the CA doesn't know where you work. He's giving you a chance? At what, self-immolation? Trust these moral imbeciles not one iota. Burn them. You bet send a validation letter to all involved creditors, they've obtained a judgement against you without notifying you of their intent, thus denying you all your rights to due process.
Call an attorney of your own immediatel, start with your divorce lawyer and proceed from there. He is your lawyer, the other jerkxxx is 'their' lawyer, and they are incontrovertibly the enemy.
Call the FTC right away and start complaints, and follow up with written account of all that has occurred. call your state AG and do likewise.
Start complaint in home state of the CA and all involved in this absolute injustice. Call your physician and absolutely tell him of the distress caused. Let's look at this in its essence. You arrive home to find to men with guns brandishing a falsely obtained warrant of sorts to search you property. Yes, they came, they saw, agreed you had nothing and departed. And you trust them at their word?
Rule #1 - Cops are part of the system, the system favors those who get there first, in this case, the predatory CA who filed a bogus judgement against you. They could turn around, tell the judge you have an apartment filled with Brie, Gaugins, and a kidney shaped swimming pool filled with ether and studded with rubies. Oh, you say you don't? They could say you illegally concealed these goodies, which CA maggots would give to their corkscrew-tailed courtesans as gifts. This is frightening to many to read, it surely must be disconcerting to you.
The CA's seem to be ratcheting up their antics perhaps from desperation, perhaps because they sense some empowerment from their greaseball pals in the political area - see postings on Colorado - another state off this writer's list.
The judgement has to be taken off your credit reports, it was put there illegally, the FTC can guide you as well as lawyer. The firm who did this needs to have their avaricious little digits ripped from their metacarpals, legally of course.
We are all here to assist as best we might. Enduring righteous anger is a powerful motivator.

"Betrayal arouses emotions stronger than grief, more complex than pain, a peaceable man enroute jail would become uncontrollably violent at the sight of the men who had manipulated and humiliated him"
-Jaime Kuykendall,
Legendary US Border Patrol Agent
& Texas Hero

And Humiliation, manipulation, betrayal are
the stock in trade of the credit card CA's and
and their lickspittle legal prevaricators.

Why is the enemy speaking so sweetly to you? because he knows you are in the catbird seat. He knows he's made an egregious error and slandered your credit. Offering to withhold your well prepared counterstrike may motivate them to retract their false documents and restore your good name.
