As I answered before- a repo voids any contract. Send them a validation/dispute letter, you DO NOT have to be concerned about SOL as the basis for their claim is a deficiency on a repo.If you were not properly notified of the repo and sale , there can be NO deficiency. DO NOT talk to ca scum over the phone, they will lie and then deny it.

IF they are threatening legal action against you, it is a violation of the FDCPA and your State consumer protection laws.File a complaint with the FTC and your State AG's office.
