Sounds like thieves paying a visit, not repo men.
I would think that repo men would know better than to tamper with mail, since it's a federal crime. And really, Sam's does not send their "mafia of made men" around for their payment. My mom works at Sam's and sometimes she helps out with their credit card applications. Although her kids have membership cards (for free), she has warned never ever accept a Sam's credit card. She has heard some real horror stories from some of the members. She warns the college kids and people who say they are trying to buy a house not to apply because the Sam's credit card will eventually screw them over. She has even heard about people receiving account statements with charges on the card already, eventhough they have never used the card. The store sucks people into applying by offering free stuff. Come on people, that stuff comes from "Dollar Tree". I'm pretty sure a dollar is not worth all the drama.
