Need Advice Please

While it is a not long story on how my AAA credit went down the tubes....let's just say I protected my daughter, with very expensive attornies, against ridiculous criminal charges (which battled more than 10 months (and 6 figures), and I would do it again if the need ever arose).
Today via FedEx, I received from NCO (collecting a debt for MBNA), an Arbitration Claim, which requires response with in 30 days.
I would like to point out, any creditor who worked with me has been paid - MBNA was one who would not.
I have successfully answered any in the past to my advantage resulting with a dismissal, which arrived via the Sheriff.
I dont know what to do with this one....
I would also like to point out, the last payment made by check was 10/1/99 and cleared days later. South Carolina, where I reside, SOL? is three years.
Should a response be the 3 year limit??
