why chat- your opinion on camco

Ok my work has really picked up and we all know how camco hates written material as it leaves an illegal paper trail. However, one of the people who contacted me is from california. As we already know, statute 2.6 of the cali fdcpa specifically states, as clear as a bell, that it is illegal to even collect on a time barred debt. Camco, through sheer greed or stupidity or both, has faxed this gentleman settlement offers. We all know cali is pro consumer and I am pretty sure a cali fdcpa violation carries up to a $2500 fine. This person has also expressed interest in a little revenge and/or fun. What do you think about taking this to small claims and sueing camco. They need sued badly. You have the proof. WE know they are crooks and we are all tired of them getting away with it. what about striking back?
