I had defaulted on a lechemeer creditcard because they went out of busniss 3 months after selling me a 5 year extended warenty on a camcorder. they in turn became mca of georga. I could get no sarisfaction on service for the product, so I stopped paying. they in turn gave it to a lawyer. the lawyer took me to small clames court. I showed up he didn't, magistrate dismissed it. the lawyer set up another date. I showe up he had a stand in who didn't fill out the paperwork right and didn't know what the case was about. the magistrate dismissed it. the lawyer set amother date. this time I was so mad that i counter sued him for lost time from work. he actually had an associate from his office show up. this time I had an associate magistrate who found in favor of the creditor set payment plan, but also granted me $300.00 in my counter suit. the lawyer said he would appeal and have me back in court if I didn't letr him deduct it from my bill. a few months ago I bought a credit report after being almost laughed out of a car dealership when the pulled up my report. It seems to that it read as three seperate bills lechmeer, mca,and the lawyer who I think has it listed as a charge off for the 300 i didn;t have to pay him for the counter suit. The question! can they list the same bill as 3 seperate bills and can the lawayer say they wrote off the 300 dollars like I didnt pay the bill in full. he neve sent me a paid in full statement.
