The FDCPA validation requirements have little bearing on what a local Civil Court Judge would consider to be adaquate proof of the claim.

One could certainly counterfile a claim for violation of the FDCPA requirements for provding validation, however, that will not replace the need to defend oneself in court .

If the plaintiff has what the Court determines is reasonable proof of their claim, the debtor will lose and have a judgment entered against them.

The ONLY time a refusal to validate is of real value, is if there is REALLY no proof at all that the debt is valid.
