Do you owe money to the previous bank? Have you paid it off? Is it just one bank that put you into chexsystems. The CCC offers a class for $50.00 to take, get a certificate and when you pass you take it to the banks who participate, ie wells fargo, credit unions and they will open a checking and savings account for you. Look into that, it's going to be really hard to find a non-chexsystems bank. What state are you in?
