Inquiry..on CR Why Chat or Lady

In receiving my credit report, it has an inquiry from an Attorney, who on April 11,2002 tried to collect after settlement had already been paid. I sent him cancelled money order and agreement for settlement. Told me account has been closed. No listing for this debt on CR. On May 29, 2002, this attorney requested my credit file and is now listed for 1 more year on file. Unfair and unjustified. No permissable purpose here?
Any thing I can do? Site is great..keep up the good work..Greatly appreciated.
