credit card mess/collection/atty calling/threating a judgement

Hi,
Please help me, this is making me SICK. I live in Florida. Fleet credit card wasn't paid, I haven't made a payment since Jan 2002) now owe $5,400.00. Atty called me today, said it was charged off, and that someone else now owns this acct and he is collecting on it. This atty stated, that they would settle this today before 7:00 PM for $4,500, and then said that IF I didn't come up with the money today, they would place a judgement against me.
I own a 2000 Jeep (paid off), and a house worth $145,000. that I owe $28,000.00 on. My father's name is on the house, along with mine.
Can they take my Jeep? Can they place a lien against the house even though my father's name is also on it? (My father doesn't live here in the house)
I don't work, but collect child support, and also my daughter gets SSI payments? Can they collect against my child support or my daughters SSI payments?
I just married 8 months ago, can they go after my husband's pay check, even though he has nothing to do with my owing this money. If I sign the Jeep over to my husband can they take it? Or If I sign it over to my father tomorrow can they take it?
PLEASE someone please tell me what to do!!
