I finally figured out that a debt I'm being hassled about is a MasterCard that I had in the early 1980's when living in Tennessee. The debt was listed on and subsequently discharged via Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 1986. Now, umpteen years later, some Whitewing Financial Group moron named Mrs. Dotson has been sending letters to my Alabama home and calling me at my business. I'm sure that I could just send her a copy of the 1986 discharge along with a C&D, but how in the world can a CA get away with crap like this? Thanks for any input/advice.
