I have evidence that SEARS charged off the debt in 1995. In 2000, someone changed the SEARS account from R9 charge off to R5 collection, then, RMA added a second entry on my report for the same item with a date of last activity 8/96. The first deliquency began in 9/95 with charge off 12/95. WHEN SHOULD IT BE REMOVED? I don't want to make a big stink if I'm wrong, but I do if I'm right. NOTE: SEARS original entry if off my report, but the RMA entry still shows until 8/96. I have copies of everything.
