I am a little cloudy on my next steps. Please tell me if I am on the right track. TIA

Received TU report on 2/10. Disputed Cap1 account (not mine, which is true) on 2/14 with Cap1, CMRRR signed/stamped on 2/19.

Disputed with TU on 2/20 - CMRRR signed/stamped on 2/22 but no sig just a stamped with TU's name and Chester, PA 19022.

Verified records, found a letter from RMA dated in January, wanting to settle for less than amount, included mini-miranda. Mailed validation letter on 2/28 - CMRRR signed on 3/3.

3/8, received another letter from RMA, dated 3/4 on their company letterhead, another offer to settle, less than half, included mini-miranda.

3/12 - called TU, account is under investigation, initiated by TU; NO RESPONSE FROM Cap1, thus not marked in dispute by them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Violations are: FCRA 623 (1)(a) and (3) (Cap1 and RMA); FDCPA 809 (b).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What to do now...?? I am going to send a letter to Cap1 (mailed and via PFB, regarding this account the their liability of RMA's handling of my account.

I would like this account removed from my report, thus I am not totally concerned with the $$ associated with the violations. However, if I have to, I will exercise payment.
