They will always say it is your responsibility to keep track of your account so this is a nogo in court. Go to creditnet.com. Tell them the story on the discussion board(you have to register but is free). They have what is called a goodwill letter in which your basically beg for forgiveness. It may work. It may not. I have seen many cases in which it did work. they have a nice lette to use there. Go check it out.
