Alisa , Patti's right , NOTHING is worth your health feeling down & losing sleep .. im not an expert by far but i have six tons of common sense & in my opinion since you have ZERO assets id do nothing for the time being & wait to see IF they sue you & get a judgement against you & at that time ONLY would i than file BK chapter 7 , trust me despite what those loser a$$ collectors tell you YOUR IN TOTAL 100% CONTROL , NOT THEM !! in the mean time DONT TALK TO THEM ANYMORE ON THE PHONE , CONTROL your phone DONT let your phone control you in meaning get caller ID & ONLY answer for people you know OR at the very least dont answer out of area OR private blocked calls .. most creditors despite what you are told WILL ONLY sue you if they feel than can re-coop some money , they'll do asset searches and bank account searches so if you really have basically nothing my bet is they wont bother & this includes Discover , their just like all the others no worse no better its all just bad rumor BS .. are there exceptions to this , of course there are but thats in every walk of life but again only my opinion .. hey owing 100k is alot thats no lie but again you still are in control of the situation & IF you get sued then at that time id go the BK route but personally if me id wait it out ......... bad things happen to good people , SOL state laws & federal BK laws were put in place for a reason & with our economy the way it is i dont see it getting any better any time soon , hell here in Nevada im now paying 201.9 for the cheapest gas now & seems to go up 3 cents per day its messed up bad !! just dont worry & dont let them get you down becouse THATS THEIR GOAL IN BREAKING YOU DOWN so dont talk to them from now on , least thats sure how i see it , good luck kelly ...............
