The same company contacted me 2 days ago and pretty much told me that I was going to be away from my kids and raped in jail on my back if I didn't fork over 147.28 for a 14.78 check supposedly written back in 2000. They refuse to send me a copy. I was advised to send them a certified letter asking for a copy of the check. The police said they can't do a thing to me and were outside of the law with harrassment.
