I posted on 3/13 about a letter to a collection agency (validation letter) asking what I should do next since they have not responded in 30 days. There was some mix up about someone telling me to use an estoppel letter which you clarified. I posted again on 3/14 clarifying my previous since I wasn't sure I had given clear information. Can you tell me what the next step is that I should take? I want to make sure everything is done legally and effectively to clear up this debt if it is my husbands. Not trying to get out of paying, the whole thing seems kind of fishy to me since the account numbers and amounts do not match anything my husband can recall. I would like to get this settled soon without it causing any stress of judgements/law suits. Thanks in advance for the help! I really enjoy visiting the site and reading the posts.
