Scott, Why Chat, you've been very helpful. My charge off is dated last activity 03/97. I lived I Missouri at the time and my balance is for 5400.00. I now live in Illinois and have been contacted by an atty about this. He wants to arrange payment. My question is....since I believe the SOL is up for IL and MO. Should I send him a C & D letter pointing out the SOL is up. Or does he still have legal recourse. How would you handle this matter? thanks for the great advise!
