I thnk Camco just hit bottom with this guy from Freeadvice. A 16 year old debt AND discharged in bk. He said in a later post it was Camco. I turned him on to Edleman and Combs. What is the name of your state? Georgia Is it legal for one of these companies who purchase portolios of bad debt, send letters to the names of the portfolio without first checking public bankruptcy records. I have received such a letter even though it was discharged through bankruptcy in 1987. I know I can send them a letter stating the case no.etc. but can I use some intimidating wording of my own, and be on solid legal grounds.
