why chat...judgements/attachments on joint assets

why chat...please help! can a collection agency put a judgement or attachment on my joint bank accounts/assets/properties even if i am the sole debtor on the credit card account and my spouse is not a co-signor on any of my unsecured debts? when they approved my credit, i was unemployed/ homemaker and i am still unemployed as of this writing. i am from delware but the two collection agencies are from out of state. what are my rights?
