If your husband's name is primary on the joint accounts they are safe from garnishment in Del.(a NON community property State).

Being primary means that when your bank statements arrive, his name is first.(and his ss#).

It is POSSIBLE for a judgment lien holder who has on record payments for the account from THAT checking account to file a claim based on the payment record,however, I do not believe a bank would honor such a claim, and if they did,you could petition the Court to have it reversed.
