I'm sure this question has been asked before but I am in need of a checking account and can't get one. I owed some $$ to a bank but paid it. There was a
bad check for a retail store and I paid that too. i find that of all the banks I have gone to - none will give me another chance because they say that it doesn't matter if I cleared tham up - the mere fact that it happened disqualifies me from having an account. Please help.
