Please help, its starting to get CRAZY

One of my accounts DMB,.has been turned over to a ca, who i have been advised by both oc, and ca, that it has been bought. The ca says i have 30 days to verify or they will assume the debt is mine..if i ask them for val. with whychats val letter, am i pushing them to seek a judgement sooner..can i ask for val anytime or must i do it withing the time frame they have stated...am i just better off waiting for calls from them..i live in FL. and this acct. was just charged off and bought by them..it is not out of sol..also sol means that on open accts. the oc, ca or whoever has 4 years to collect or sue..correct, or it falls off the cr...please advise...thanks
