I live in Oklahoma. I received a letter saying that they were going to sell my car and that's it! I heard nothing from them. When they repoed my car, I was on the phone to the lien holders, I had just sent them $300 and made payment arrangements for the next payment. At that time, they told me that would call the repo people while I was on hold. They did and said, "okay, its taken care of. We will need that payment Friday." I go out for lunch, and my cars not there. So they took it after everything. After that I received no notice of anything no letters or phone calls, except for the one saying that they were going to sell my car. BTW, this was NOT a voluntary repo if you can't tell. So I go to try to get a car, and the finance guy told me that there was no 30-60-90 on my credit record, just record of the repo. And for him to approve me, he would have to see that and I needed to fax over a release saying it was okay for my lien holders to release the information. I received a phone call a few days ago, from the lady who he talked at the lien holders. She said that I owe the money, and I said that I haven't heard anything in almost a year. Then she went on to say that the reason I probably haven't heard anything is that they just pulled the contracts back from the people who service them.
