Thanks everyone. Yes, renting a car with the card would be great when I am out of town on business.
My main concern was whether any info about the card or checking account would show up on a credit report, alerting CC creditors to a potential source of collection. I do understand the bank account itself could be subject to garnishment. Thanks.
