This was sent certified mail--I'm not sure if that counts as "legally served". The letterhead lists the county municipal court in our county. It lists "Plaintiff" as The Finance Company, and "Defendant" as my husband. It further states, "you are hereby summoned and required to serve...". It also says that he has 28 days to serve a copy of an answer to the complaint to the plaintiff's attorney. To us, it sounds pretty serious, and my husband is freaking out, especially since this all of a sudden popped up, 12 years later.......

We are in OH now, have been since 1992. This car purchase was in FL in 1991.
