Validation in Answer to a lawsuit is not going to help. You must file your Answer to the Complaint and since you have no knowlege of the account they are suing you for, your Answer should say either 'deny' or 'lack knowledge' to all the statements in the Complaint. You'll then have to go to court to stop AssXXXX from winning. IF this is your old card from 1989, then the Statute of Limitations (SOL) ran out a LONG time ago. In Ohio, the SOL for credit cards is FOUR YEARS (not the 15 that the CA atty would argue). So, send your Answer to the court and send a Validation demand letter to ASSxxx certified, RRR and keep copies of everything.
